Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medicine as this may reduce its effectiveness.Some common side effects of this medicine include confusion, memory impairment, slow heart rate, tiredness, and nightmare.  It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness. So, do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. The drug has the ability to hide the symptoms of diabetes, hence monitor your blood sugar regularly while taking this medicine. Let your doctor know if you experience increased swelling around your legs or ankles, sudden weight gain or sudden shortness of breath while on the treatment.Take caution while taking medicine if you are suffering from liver disease. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.

- Driving : UNSAFE

Alcold BM Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Alcold BM Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Use of Alcold BM Syrup may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

- Liver : CAUTION

Alcold BM Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Alcold BM Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Alcold BM Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
