It should be taken with food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. You should not take Dilantin 50mg/2ml Injection if you have liver disease, especially if you have a history of developing a liver problem due to Dilantin 50mg/2ml Injection. Also, patients taking Delavirdine (a medicine used in the treatment of HIV infection) should not take Dilantin 50mg/2ml Injection. Dilantin 50mg/2ml Injection may reduce the effectiveness of Delavirdine on HIV and the virus may also become resistant to Delavirdine. It is advised that you inform your doctor if you have any existing heart disorder before you receive Dilantin 50mg/2ml Injection.
