Flutatec 250mg Tablet is used in the treatment of cancer of the prostate gland. It may be also used to treat other conditions, as determined by the doctor. It works by blocking the effects of male hormones such as testosterone.Flutatec 250mg Tablet should be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time every day. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.Breast enlargement in males, sleepiness, nausea, and vomiting are some very common side effects of this medicine. Other than this, yellowing of the skin, loss of appetite, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, dark urine, and skin rashes are some side effects that require immediate action. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells along with liver function during treatment with this medicine. It makes your skin more sensitive towards sunlight, hence take extra caution while going out.Before taking it, tell your doctor if have diabetes, liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. It may harm your baby. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.  You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood glucose levels while on treatment.

Plasbumin 20% Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

- Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

- Driving : CAUTION

Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is too low or too high. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

- Kidney : CAUTION

Plasbumin 20% Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Plasbumin 20% Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

- Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Plasbumin 20% Injection is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Plasbumin 20% Injection is recommended.

Q. What do you need to inform your doctor before you are given Plasbumin 20% Injection?
Before you are given this medicine, you need to inform your doctor if you are allergic to albumin preparations or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Suspicion of allergic or anaphylactic type reactions requires an immediate stop of the infusion.

Q. What vitals should be monitored before giving Plasbumin 20% Injection
Before giving this injection, your doctor or nurse will measure your blood pressure, heart rate and conduct blood tests to make sure you are not given an excess dose. If you experience a headache, difficulty in breathing, or increased blood pressure, inform your doctor immediately.

Q. How is Plasbumin 20% Injection given?
This medicine must be administered intravenously at a rate not to exceed 1 mL/min to patients with normal blood volume, due to the risk of developing circulatory overload and pulmonary edema (excess fluid in lungs).
