Etilaam S 0.5mg/5mg Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat depression. It is a combination medicine that calms the brain by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells. It also increases the level of chemical messenger in the brain which improves mood.Etilaam S 0.5mg/5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor as it has habit-forming potential. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important not to stop taking this medicine suddenly as this may cause withdrawal symptoms.Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, confusion, memory impairment, low sexual desire, and delayed ejaculation. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness. So, do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Remember to inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood as it can cause suicidal thoughts and can be dangerous for you. This medicine may cause weight gain and to control it, you should have a balanced diet and exercise regularly.Take caution while taking medicine if you are suffering from liver disease. - Driving : CAUTION

Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is too low or too high. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Prebumin 20% Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Prebumin 20% Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

- Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Prebumin 20% Injection is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Prebumin 20% Injection is recommended.

Q. What do you need to inform your doctor before you are given Prebumin 20% Injection?
Before you are given this medicine, you need to inform your doctor if you are allergic to albumin preparations or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Suspicion of allergic or anaphylactic type reactions requires an immediate stop of the infusion.

Q. What vitals should be monitored before giving Prebumin 20% Injection
Before giving this injection, your doctor or nurse will measure your blood pressure, heart rate and conduct blood tests to make sure you are not given an excess dose. If you experience a headache, difficulty in breathing, or increased blood pressure, inform your doctor immediately.

Q. How is Prebumin 20% Injection given?
This medicine must be administered intravenously at a rate not to exceed 1 mL/min to patients with normal blood volume, due to the risk of developing circulatory overload and pulmonary edema (excess fluid in lungs).
