You should not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is okay to stop.Using this medicine may cause a few common side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, heartburn, and discoloration of urine. No, Zybron Expectorant is advised for the treatment of wet cough. It aims to expel the mucus from the airway tract, thereby relieving your child from throat irritation, congestion and rendering him a soothing effect. Whereas, for a dry cough, cough suppressants are a better option. So, it will be wise to ask your child’s doctor before giving any medicine to your child.

An overdose or a prolonged intake of Zybron Expectorant may cause serious side effects like seizures, rapid heart rate, and excess salivation.
