These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days. This medicine may also cause diarrhea as a side effect. Taking probiotics along with this medicine may provide help.Before using it, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotics or have any kidney or liver problems. - Alcohol : UNSAFE

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Paramine 2mg/125mg Syrup.

- Pregnancy : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Paramine 2mg/125mg Syrup is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

- Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Paramine 2mg/125mg Syrup is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.Larger doses or prolonged use of Paramine 2mg/125mg Syrup may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby

- Driving : UNSAFE

Paramine 2mg/125mg Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

- Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Paramine 2mg/125mg Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Paramine 2mg/125mg Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Use of Paramine 2mg/125mg Syrup may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

- Liver : CAUTION

Paramine 2mg/125mg Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Paramine 2mg/125mg Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, the use of Paramine 2mg/125mg Syrup is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Paramine 2mg/125mg Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
